Doctor Piano is truly delighted to welcome Lisa Booth and Kim Davison to our team of piano experts.
Both Lisa and Kim graduated from (professional accredited schools of piano tuning/technology), hold university music degrees and have years of experience tuning and servicing pianos of every description.
We believe with the addition of Lisa and Kim to our home service division, Doctor Piano is able to respond with confidence to every possible customer requirement in the piano business.

Kim Davison is a graduate of the Hal Lyne school of Piano Technology.
He initiated his training in Calgary, AB. In 1981/82. After living and working in Saskatoon, SK, and Winnipeg, MB. Kim moved to Halifax. During the years that he has lived in Nova Scotia, Kim worked as a piano technician while acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in music from Dalhousie University. Since graduating from Dal in 1996, Kim has worked with Davison Piano Services as a tuner/technician, and is proud to now be associated with Dr. Piano.

Lisa trained at the University of Western Ontario in the highly rated Piano Technology program which consisted of intense immersion in piano tuning, maintenance and repair.
Lisa also acquired a Bachelors in Music from Queens University in Kingston, ON. Following that she was an apprentice at the illustrious Tanglewood Music Festival in Massachusetts for two summers where she worked and studied with top-level technicians from Steinway NY and Baldwin. Lisa has been living and tuning in Halifax since 2002. An accomplished classical musician, Lisa can be seen playing French horn with several local ensembles including occasional concerts with Symphony Nova Scotia.
